No. Crewsware gets the award information about the same time as IBM, however we are very fast in processing the data to show our enhanced displays. Most of the time Crewsware will beat everyone else by notifying you and displaying your award information first – but that why we are in business.
Every subscriber will receive an email when the new awards are ready at Crewsware. If you set up SMS in your Crewsware profile, we’ll also send you an SMS.
Yes; the Apple products use what’s called ‘subscribed calendars’ while other can use Google Sync. The award information is sent directly to the devices calendar.
No. We only charge if you have a block holder or reserve schedule.

After you log into Crewsware we normally don't use a Secure Socket Layer or SSL as it will slow your experience with Crewsware. We do use this for importing your flight summaries, but for the rest of Crewsware it's probably not necessary. That said, you can add the "s" to "https" and login with full SSL if you wish.
If you start your trial from the first day of the month to the 9th day, then yes this month will be counted. Start after the 9th and it won’t be.
If you start you month from the 1st of the month to the 9th of that month, then the current month will count against your trial. That means you will only have one additional month remaining; the current month plus the next month, or two months. For example, start on the first of May, then you will have all of May, all of June and until the July awards are released. In actuality, depending on when you start our trial, you can have a minimum of 80 days to a maximum of 100 days of free access to Crewsware.
No. There currently are only 2 tools that have restrictions on them, the Pay & Expense Tracker and eLog or electronic logbook. Both these tools will work but the selection to prior months will be restricted as an incentive to purchase a subscription.
No. If you choose not to subscribe there’s nothing you need to do. We will send you reminders from time to time but if you don’t subscribe, we will get the hint and leave you alone.
No. You will not lose the remainder of your trial, it always added to the beginning of your subscription.
It means your account has been put in suspended mode until you purchase a subscription. In suspended mode, you will be directed to the Account Manager to purchase a subscription.
No, we sell subscriptions packages and these are priced low based on a multiple month system. We also do not store your credit card information so packages are easier in the long run.
There are two price structures, pilots pay on average about $5.50 per month while Flight Attendants pay about $4.75 per month. Please see Pricing for more details.
Yes. We do accept personal cheques. You will find our address inside the Account Manager.
Yes. After you purchase your first subscription of at least 12 'schedule month credits' or SMC's, you will be entitled to an early renewal bonus. For each 12 SMC's you purchase your will receive 1 additional schedule month credit. If you purchase 24 SMC's you will get 2 additional free SMC's, purchase 36 SMC's and receive 3 free SMC's.

When you start your trial or purchase a subscription, you will have what we call 'schedule month credits'or SMC's. Depending on the type of award or block you get for any month, you will be debit you will be debited from 1, ½, or 0 SMC's.
- Block Holders will be debited 1 SMC. 12 SMC's will last 12 months.
- Reserves will be debited ½ SMC. 12 SMC's will last 24 months.
- Everyone else will not be debited anything. Your schedule month credits will not change.
If you don't receive a block holder award (BH) or reserve award (RS), your schedule month credit value will not drop. That means that month was free.
There's no need to suspend your account as we only bill those clients who get a BH (Block Holder) and RS (Reserve) month. All other month types are not billed. This includes Training months (LT), maternity, leave of absence, long term sick, and anything else. Crewsware system is totally automatic, it will see when you leave and see when you return. Your account will stay active allowing you to view important resources but not be billed for the months you are way.
You can also visit Crewsware's Account Manager to see your billing status and verify when you are, and when you are not billed.
SMC stands for Schedule Month Credit. These are the credits you purchase when you subscribe to Crewsware. Depending on your award, you can be debited from 1, ½, or 0 SMC's each month. Please see the other questions for more information.
Yes they do. We have a very easy to use referral system inside Crewsware. Since our best advertising is word of mouth, we reward those individuals who tell others about us.
Each person who refers another person to Crewsware will receive a credit of 1/12th of whatever that person purchases. That's $1for every $12 they spend. Also, the more you refer your rate increases to a maximum of $2.40 per $12 purchased.
These credits can be used to purchase additional months for their subscription, or if built up can be cash cleared. It's a great way to make a little or a lot of extra money.
When you update your iPhone or iPad, it can turn off the acceptance of cookies. Cookies are required to pass information inside Crewsware to and from various tools.

We have designed a special easy to use method of getting your apple device set up for subscribed calendars. This system is included free with every subscription. With subscribed calendars, your devices calendar will auto update with your award very month.
Before a tool or feature is released for use, we check if there are any issues with three browsers, IE, Safari and Firefox. That said, these browsers are constantly changing so from time to time certain aspects of a tool may not work perfectly. If you find anything, please let us know as soon as possible.

To run Crewswares employee services, the host airline must be involved so some degree. As we are handling future work schedules, the host airline must be informed to the nature of what we do. It is possible to run Crewswares employee services without the help of the host airline, but it is much easier if the host takes an active role in what we do.
Yes. Our staff includes experienced airline system analysts. We have helped a number of very large airlines and airline unions in a variety of system analysis.
Crewsware has the ability to service any airline as long as a relationship has been worked for the transfer of data to and from the host airline.
