Crewsware makes my airline life so much easier! The Pairing Filter helps me pinpoint the exact type of flying I want to do on the dates that I want. The Sortable Pairings option puts them all together so I can visualize where everything fits, making my PBS bidding much easier. The Shirt Pocket Calendar is emailed to me with up-to-date info the night before. I keep it on my phone so I always have my schedule with me. All my pairing info is not wiped out with red lines as in Globe if there is the slightest little pairing change! I find the Max Duty Time and Expire time are very convenient on a long day! Plus the iCal on my phone is automatically populated each month with all my blocks details, beautiful!
Everything you need for your airline life is provided through Crewsware. The Electronic Logbook is automatic and includes a route map of everywhere I have flown over my AC career, really cool! Features include Position Planner, Hotel information, Currency conversion, Who’s in town, plain language Equipment Pay Tables, up-to-date Meal Allowances and much more. On top of it all, the Expense and Claim Tracker is easy to use and automated. It has consistently returned an average of three times the cost of my yearly Crewsware subscription in unpaid expenses that would have simply slipped by me! I actually make money by using Crewsware!!!
Crewsware is totally worth the money and I highly recommend it!
While company apps and products have improved greatly in the last few years, Crewsware's Family Calendar, Who's In Town and Shirt Pocket Schedule remain easier to read with more complete information. Pay Tables and Friends Blocks have proved invaluable tools when contemplating equipment changes, as I can view and assess a large sample of schedules at my seniority over the course of an entire calendar year.
Crewsware's best feature, by far, has been the Pay and Expense Tracker.
It's easy to use, requires about 15 minutes per year of effort, and saves me hundreds of dollars. Crewsware pays for itself many times over with this feature alone.
Over the years I have watched Crewsware evolve into a high performance, sophisticated pilot tool. It provides a quick, efficient reference for my work schedule and explains my pairings in detail. The presentation is clear and concise, assisting me to come to work prepared with needed details of the pairing such as check-in time, flight number, departure and arrival time, layover hotel, shuttle pick-up area, shuttle company name with details such as pick-up time for the next day, and contact information.
The IC and GP assigned for the flight, layover discounts on services and meals and detailed pairing credits are just a few of the many details on the quick-reference Shirt Pocket Schedule. Other information such as destination weather, currency information, and ‘Who’s in Town’ is also valuable layover information.
One of the many tools that link to the home screen is the pairing filter. I find this feature invaluable for bidding for my monthly schedule, sorting destination airports, and pairing numbers with dates. By isolating the pairings that I am only interested in, saves me time and effort during the monthly PBS award process.
This is a tool I have learned to depend on, and I highly recommend Crewsware to those who wish to maximize their quality of work life.
Great work Crewsware team!
I never leave on a pairing without my Shirt Pocket Schedule!
All the info I need is in one place and I don't need to go searching all over acaeronet and our EFB's for the info that is right at my fingertips.
As I fly overseas long haul, the fact that I have handy access to accurate currency conversion rates, time zone differentials, phone numbers for cabs and the hotel with country code and area code is a real time saver. It's all on my Shirt Pocket Schedule.
Recently we ran into a delay and I was able to instantly identify when we could activate the deadheading augment pilot as it was indicated on my Shirt Pocket Schedule. Love that feature!
I've been subscribing to Crewsware since inception and will continue to do so. Great product and one I highly recommend!
I have been using Crewsware for a number of years and find it a valuable tool, especially when bidding each month.
I typically will have a split-screen on my computer, with Crewsware open on one page, and PBS on the other. I find Pairing Filters and the monthly planner my go to pages when trying to build my block.
The other feature I use on each pairing is the summary, which I still print and carry in my shirt pocket. Call me old school.
Great job all around.
